i’ve photographed this couple twice here and here. a year later, it’s baby time!!! i couldn’t be happier for them. they are such a wonderful couple – i puffy heart them. this baby will be loved and adored and i can’t wait to meet her (yup – i’m calling it. i think it’s a girl).

it was raining during most of our session – those are rain drops on her shirt.

Spring/Summer Mini Sessions | New York Photography

it’s that time of year again. the snow has melted, the birds are chirping, leaves are budding. ahhhhh – i just love spring. and with spring comes mini sessions!!! wahoo!!!!

i’ll be booking only 9 sessions on each date – may 15th & june 5th. each session will be 30 minutes long with a 15 minute buffer between each session. all sessions will be taking place at one location of my choice. sign up early. spots won’t last long.

baby b was born on february 22 and i was lucky enough to photograph him 7 days later. he is the sweetest thing. but he comes from such a sweet family, how could he not be sweet? thank you jackie and adam for letting me take his first pictures.

i’m sorry i’ve ignored you little blog (hi meg – told you i’d post today). i’ve been a busy girl and have tons of excuses. first off, it’s been snowing in NYC, a lot. it never freakin’ stops. i’ve also been redoing my business model – ugh. not my idea of a fun time but it had to be done.

if you were ever interested in booking a session, do it now! may is already booking up fast. i’m limiting time when i shoot this year. i want to spend more time with my family. my daughter said to me “you’re always working”. ouch! so i’m scaling back just a bit.

but with all the work that i’ve been doing as far as my business goes, we’ve been having fun. last friday it snowed, again!! we got about a foot of snow and took the kids sledding on saturday. my daughter wouldn’t go down the hill alone for most of the day. finally, on the last few runs – she went by herself. the first run was fun. she sailed down the hill and laughed the entire way. the second run, she hit the small jump that a few kids had made. and hit it she did!! nailed it. of course i was there to capture it. when she landed and wiped out, she cried and said, “i want to go home now”. so we did and hot chocolate with whipped cream. it makes everyone feel just a little bit better.

and before you say anything or email me – it was warm (45 degrees) which is why she wasn’t wearing mittens. no one was wearing jackets and it took all i could do for her just to wear her hat.
