i went for a run the other morning. i was gone about 30-40 minutes. when i came back, we had a visitor. he was just a wee little lad (outlander reference for those who have read it). my kids said he was sitting on our steps when they came outside. he was just a baby. either he got lost or his mother kicked him to curb or he said, “that’s it – i’m leaving home and never coming back”. we’ve all been there with our parents so i can feel his pain. unfortunately, he was just too tiny to make it on his own. he only lived a couple of hours and then we buried him. sniffle sniffle. he was so cute.

i took this picture so you could see how tiny is compared to my daughters hands. teeny tiny.

i’ve photographed this couple twice here and here. a year later, it’s baby time!!! i couldn’t be happier for them. they are such a wonderful couple – i puffy heart them. this baby will be loved and adored and i can’t wait to meet her (yup – i’m calling it. i think it’s a girl).

it was raining during most of our session – those are rain drops on her shirt.

i love surprises. wait – i mean – i love to surprise other people. so when this mom told me that she was surprising her husband for father’s day – i was giddy. i think i might have jumped up and down a little. so if you know this dad – please don’t tell him that his wife did a surprise session for father’s day. the mom wanted a sneak peak so here it is – just don’t tell ok???? i know i can trust all of you.

can you say hot? it was so hot when i met up with this amazing family. they were beautiful and up for anything….even standing out in the middle of a field with the sun blazing behind them. here is a quick sneak peak of their session…..thanks “n” family for a fun time!!!!

i know i’ve said this before but i really have the best families to photograph. and this family was no exception. sweet, kind, gracious – just wonderful to be around. they were my first from my mini sessions of the spring. it was a beautiful day at oakland beach in rye, ny. i hope they had as much fun as i did. here’s a little sneak peak from the session.

wait – who’s that in the picture?? i had to take a picture of miss p and me. such an adorable little girl.
