…….when you aren’t expecting it, people make you feel special. this sign greeted me when i showed up to do a family session in maine. it made my heart melt and made me feel special. more on this session soon but i just had to share this one picture. and do me favor – make someone feel special today or tomorrow or every single day. it will make their heart melt too.

happy father’s day! a little late

i’ve just come back from the maine woods. it was a long walk but i finally made it back to NY. i’m kidding of course!!! my husband did father’s day without me while i was busting my back opening up our cabin in maine. so happy father’s day to him – he’s a great dad who always takes time for the kids. i wish i had a picture but i don’t. what a horrible photographer i am!! oh well. i’ll post one soon.

my previous post about the mom who surprised her husband with a photo session? well, it went off without a hitch. so i now i want to show you what she presented to her husband on father’s day morning.

and this was the email that i got yesterday. i love my job.

“Hi Stacy,
I hope that you had a good weekend and that your family had a nice Father’s Day. I just wanted to let you know that Mike LOVED the photos. He had tears streaming down his face by the third one. It was a perfect surprise for Father’s Day.”

before we leave for maine, i’m going to swing by and take some pictures of mike with his family to complete the picture. get it?? picture??? god, i’m a dork.

i love surprises. wait – i mean – i love to surprise other people. so when this mom told me that she was surprising her husband for father’s day – i was giddy. i think i might have jumped up and down a little. so if you know this dad – please don’t tell him that his wife did a surprise session for father’s day. the mom wanted a sneak peak so here it is – just don’t tell ok???? i know i can trust all of you.

can you say hot? it was so hot when i met up with this amazing family. they were beautiful and up for anything….even standing out in the middle of a field with the sun blazing behind them. here is a quick sneak peak of their session…..thanks “n” family for a fun time!!!!

i know i’ve said this before but i really have the best families to photograph. and this family was no exception. sweet, kind, gracious – just wonderful to be around. they were my first from my mini sessions of the spring. it was a beautiful day at oakland beach in rye, ny. i hope they had as much fun as i did. here’s a little sneak peak from the session.

wait – who’s that in the picture?? i had to take a picture of miss p and me. such an adorable little girl.

Spring/Summer Mini Sessions | New York Photography

it’s that time of year again. the snow has melted, the birds are chirping, leaves are budding. ahhhhh – i just love spring. and with spring comes mini sessions!!! wahoo!!!!

i’ll be booking only 9 sessions on each date – may 15th & june 5th. each session will be 30 minutes long with a 15 minute buffer between each session. all sessions will be taking place at one location of my choice. sign up early. spots won’t last long.
