i’m sorry i’ve ignored you little blog (hi meg – told you i’d post today). i’ve been a busy girl and have tons of excuses. first off, it’s been snowing in NYC, a lot. it never freakin’ stops. i’ve also been redoing my business model – ugh. not my idea of a fun time but it had to be done.
if you were ever interested in booking a session, do it now! may is already booking up fast. i’m limiting time when i shoot this year. i want to spend more time with my family. my daughter said to me “you’re always working”. ouch! so i’m scaling back just a bit.
but with all the work that i’ve been doing as far as my business goes, we’ve been having fun. last friday it snowed, again!! we got about a foot of snow and took the kids sledding on saturday. my daughter wouldn’t go down the hill alone for most of the day. finally, on the last few runs – she went by herself. the first run was fun. she sailed down the hill and laughed the entire way. the second run, she hit the small jump that a few kids had made. and hit it she did!! nailed it. of course i was there to capture it. when she landed and wiped out, she cried and said, “i want to go home now”. so we did and hot chocolate with whipped cream. it makes everyone feel just a little bit better.
and before you say anything or email me – it was warm (45 degrees) which is why she wasn’t wearing mittens. no one was wearing jackets and it took all i could do for her just to wear her hat.
