i hate it when my kids are sick. there’s really nothing you can do for them. i’m not the type of parent that runs their child to the doctor because they have a fever. i usually wait it out and see what happens. her fever started before christmas – nothing crazy but a fever. it lasted for 3 days. tylenol and motrin were our friends for those three days. wait, who am i kidding!! that stuff is our friend ALL the time. but anyway, after i had put her to bed one night and i myself was turning in, i noticed a light coming from her room. i ran to get my camera and caught her with LLBean headlamp (thanks suzie!) on reading her book. she said to me, “is it okay if i just read for awhile?”. “sure darlin’”.
