sometimes you need to do something for yourself – that doesn’t involve the kids or the husband… but for you. and that’s what i did this weekend. i invited my photography teacher, ms. wendy schulz to come to NY to teach us eastern girls a thing or two about flash and that she did. 5 women, one house, lots of snacks and alcohol (but who had time) and 48 hours on non-stop flash information. we learned how to use our flash correctly, what to do for this situation, what to do for that situation and tons of other information that my little pea brain can’t wrap it’s little fingers around quite yet. ok, we did sleep for a few hours but it wasn’t much. the weekend was for us and no one else. no one asked us to get them water, get snacks, put them to bed (maybe a few of us needed to be tucked it but that’s another story). it was such an amazing weekend.
wendy, thank you for coming all the way east to see us – much appreciated. i bow to your awesomeness. stacey, cindy & jamie – thanks for all the giggles.
(and you’re right this picture has NOTHING to do with flash but i love it. it’s wendy being the super model that she is. she is amazing.)
