i took this couples engagement pics back in april. they are an amazing couple. that day, we had so much fun walking around the meat packing district. they were married on may 22 and contacted me to do a session with them after their wedding – i was humbled and honored. they put all their wedding attire back on – cindy had her makeup and hair done and whipped up a quick bridal bouquet – she’s pretty amazing like that.
we were all over downtown manhattan and brooklyn. after awhile they changed into their formal korean wedding attire and let me tell you, their outfits were spectacular! i swear 100 people came up to us and congratulated them as we walked around – NY’ers are awesome! kyu and cindy mentioned a korean wedding tradition about dates being thrown into a scarf (i hope i got that right) and how many dates caught in the scarf would indicate how many kids they would have. there were 15. so get crackin’ kids – i’m gong to be busy taking your baby pictures. wahoo!
